Private Puppy Yoga Events in Houston. We come to you.
Houston's own boutique puppy yoga: local, founder-run, and refreshingly personal. No call center, no waiting list, no unanswered inquiries.
Birthdays. Corporate events. Bridal & baby showers. Bachelorettes. Milestone celebrations. We bring vetted 8 to 16 week old puppies, a certified instructor, and a team of trained handlers to your home, club, office, or venue anywhere in Greater Houston. A fully-private, white-glove experience shaped entirely around your group. A curated event, not a class. Private events begin at $900 for up to 12 participants (guests on a mat) at your own location, and every event is custom-quoted within one business day.
You plan your event with DJ, our founder, personally. One point of contact from your first hello to the last puppy, never a rotating call-center rep.
Why people book private events instead of joining a class
Our public studio sessions are great. They're $60 a person, 75 minutes, max 20 guests, and they sell out. But they're also shared, your group sits on adjacent mats with strangers, the timing is fixed, and the vibe is whatever the mix of people on that day brings.
Private events flip that. You pick the date. You pick the time. You pick the venue. You pick the guest list. We bring the puppies, the mats, the instructor, and the joy, to your space, on your schedule, with only the people you invited. The session can be 60 minutes or 90. The vibe can be a kid's birthday or a corporate retreat. The puppies are the same vetted-breeder partners; everything else is yours to shape.
This is a boutique experience, not a budget one. Private events begin at $900, which is what it takes to bring a qualified breeder's vaccinated puppies, a certified instructor, and a dedicated handling team to your door, fully set up and cleaned up, so you do nothing but enjoy it. If you're after a lower-cost way in, our $60 public sessions are wonderful. But if you want a memorable, fully-private experience built around your people, this is it. Private events have quickly become one of our most-requested experiences.
Why Houston books a boutique, not a big chain
The national chains are built around their own studio classes and heavy national marketing. Private events are an afterthought, and it shows the moment you try to reach someone. Here is the difference you actually feel:
The big chains
- 📵 Calls land in a call center or voicemail, with slow callbacks or none at all
- 🏢 Focused on their studio classes, not your event
- 💸 Premium pricing, often $1,400 to $2,400+ for a comparable private session, before the service and admin fees they add on top
- 📋 Rigid, one-size packages
- 🙂 You are one of thousands
Pawty Yoga
- 📞 You work directly with the founder, not a call-center rep
- ⚡ Same-day quotes and quick, personal follow-up
- ✍️ Everything by the book: formal written quotes, signed contracts, fully insured ($1M)
- 🎯 Flexible and hands-on: your date, venue, guests, and format, shaped with you
- 💛 Fair, all-inclusive pricing from $900
- 🚗 We come to you, fully set up and cleaned up
When you book Pawty Yoga, you deal directly with the founder, not a rotating service rep. That means someone whose name is on the business, who takes real pride in getting every detail right and works closely with you to shape the event you actually want. And it is all handled properly: formal written quotes, signed contracts, and full $1,000,000 insurance. This is boutique care with real professionalism behind it. Send your details and you will hear back the same day.

Private event formats we host
Birthday parties
Kid birthdays (all ages), teen birthdays, Sweet 16s, adult birthdays, milestone events (30s, 40s, 50s+), and multi-generation family birthdays. Our most-requested format.
Milestones & coming-of-age
Quinceañeras, Sweet 16s, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, debutante balls and debuts, graduations, First Communions and Confirmations. The big coming-of-age moments, made unforgettable and endlessly photogenic.
Corporate, team building & wellness
Employee wellness and mental-health days (Mental Health Awareness Month in May, World Mental Health Day, Stress Awareness Day, and World Kindness Day), Wellness Wednesdays, all-hands events, team off-sites, holiday parties, recruiting and intern kickoffs. Time with puppies is proven to lower stress and lift mood, so it is wellness that actually works. PO and ACH billing supported, plus recurring monthly and quarterly packages.
Bridal & baby showers
Bridal showers, bachelorettes, baby showers, gender reveals, sip-and-shower brunches, mother's day brunches, couples showers. The format Houston brides and moms-to-be are starting to default to for the photos alone. See how showers run →
Engagements & anniversaries
Engagement parties, silver and golden wedding anniversaries, date nights, and just-because celebrations. A warm, low-key way to mark the moment with the people who matter, puppies included.
Family & community gatherings
Family reunions, neighborhood events, HOA socials, housewarmings, women's group brunches, mom's group meetups, holiday parties, retirement celebrations, and feel-good community wellness days. Same format, custom-shaped to your gathering.
What each event type actually looks like
The format is the same underneath, puppies, mats, an instructor, your venue. What changes is the pacing, the age mix, and how much yoga versus free puppy time we run. Here is how the most-requested occasions actually play out in practice.
Quinceañera puppy yoga
Usually booked as the daytime event before or the morning after the main celebration, when the extended family is already in town and everyone wants something relaxed together. We run a shorter flow and a longer free-play window, because quinceañera groups skew multi-generational and the grandparents are usually there to watch, not to do sun salutations. Photographers love it: the puppies produce candid shots that a posed session never gets, and the birthday girl's dress-rehearsal photos with a golden retriever puppy tend to be the ones that get printed. We can run the session in Spanish, and quotes and event details go out in either language.
Bridal showers and bachelorette parties
The most common Saturday-morning booking we get. Bridal showers pair naturally with brunch, so we usually set up first, run 60 to 75 minutes, and hand the room back for food while the puppies wind down. Bachelorettes tend to want the opposite order, the session as the recovery activity on day two rather than the opener. Both work. The practical advantage over a bar or spa itinerary is that nobody is excluded: guests who don't drink, guests who are pregnant, and the bride's mother all have the same good time. Group sizes usually land between 12 and 20.
Baby showers and gender reveals
Gentler pacing, more sitting, less flow. We keep the session low to the ground so a guest of honor who is 7 months along is comfortable the whole time, and we build in more rest breaks for the puppies since baby showers tend to run long on socializing. For gender reveals we have done the announcement with the puppies wearing colored bandanas, which photographs far better than it sounds. Worth knowing: we bring hand sanitizer and require it, and puppies go home the same day, so there is no lingering concern about a pregnant guest and animal contact beyond normal precautions.
Graduation parties
May and June book fastest, so reach out 4 to 6 weeks ahead if you want a weekend slot in graduation season. These skew toward mixed groups of family and friends across a wide age range, which is exactly what the format handles well. High school and college graduates tend to want the photos, and parents tend to want an activity that keeps a party from becoming everyone standing around a table. Pairs well with an at-home setup where we take the living room or the backyard for 90 minutes.
Engagement parties, anniversaries, and date nights
Smaller and quieter. Ten to fourteen people is the sweet spot, and we run these more like a shared experience than an event, with a longer settle at the start and no rush. For anniversaries we have had families surprise grandparents with it, which works better than you would expect because the flow is genuinely gentle and nobody has to get down on the floor unless they want to.
Don't see your occasion? We have run reunions, retirement send-offs, HOA socials, mom's group meetups, and a few things we did not have a name for. Tell us what you're planning and we'll shape the session around it.
What's included in every private event
The investment
Private events begin at $900, with most landing between $900 and $2,000 depending on group size (8 to 30 participants), location, duration, and add-ons. This is a true white-glove, fully-private experience, not a scaled-up public class. Beyond everything listed above, here is what your investment really reflects, and why we never cut corners:
| Up to 12 participants | $900 |
| 15 participants | $990 |
| 20 participants | $1,140 |
| 21+ participants | Custom quote |
| Up to 12 participants | $1,100 |
| 15 participants | $1,290 |
| 20 participants | $1,440 |
| 21+ participants | Custom quote |
Counts are for participants, meaning guests doing yoga on a mat. Friends and family who come along just to watch, like parents at a kid's party, are always welcome and never count toward your total.
Every event includes up to 2 hours on site, with extra time quoted per hour. Larger groups and corporate events are custom quoted, and we send every quote within one business day. Prices shown are starting points. Your final quote is tailored to your date, location, participant count, and any special requests, and we confirm it in writing before you book, so there are never any surprises.
Person for person, hour for hour, a private Pawty Yoga event runs about half the rate of national chains and other mobile providers, every session is a full 90 minutes instead of the usual 60, and our quote is flat and all-inclusive, with none of the added service and admin fees the chains tack on.
| Provider | Session | 20-participant event | Per participant, per hour |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pawty YogaLocal, founder-run | 90 min | from $1,140 | ~$40 |
| Competitor 1National chain | 60 to 75 min | $1,400 to $2,400+ | ~$70 to $95 |
| Competitor 2Mobile provider | 60 min | ~$1,600 | ~$80 |
Ranges reflect competitors' own published and quoted rates for comparable private sessions, reviewed 2026, and most chains add roughly 3 to 8 percent in service and admin fees on top. Pawty Yoga quotes are flat and all-inclusive, and every event is quoted individually. A fully sourced comparison is available on request.
- A vetted breeder brings vaccinated, temperament-screened puppies, the single biggest cost and the reason the experience is safe.
- A certified instructor plus trained handlers supervise every interaction, so you relax and your guests stay safe.
- We bring everything: mats, setup, travel anywhere in Greater Houston, and full cleanup. You do nothing but enjoy it.
Make it yours with optional add-ons: professional photography, themed decor and signage, a custom playlist, party favors, and extended puppy cuddle time.
A cheaper puppy party has to cut somewhere, usually on the puppies' welfare or trained supervision. We built Pawty Yoga to never cut those corners, which is why $900 is our floor rather than a race to the bottom. Every event follows our published Puppy Welfare Standard, the same one we hold ourselves to at every public class. The result is an experience your guests remember for weeks, with photos you will actually want to share. Looking for a lighter, lower-cost way to experience Pawty Yoga? Our public studio sessions are $60 per person and a lovely place to start. Private events are for those who want something fully their own.

Private events FAQ
What kinds of private events do you do?
Birthday parties (kid, teen, adult, milestone), corporate events (wellness Wednesdays, all-hands, off-sites, team building, recruiting, intern kickoffs), bridal showers, bachelorette parties, baby showers, gender reveals, sip-and-shower brunches, mother's brunches, couples showers, and family gatherings. If it's a private gathering of 8+ people, we've probably done a version of it.
Where do you travel for private events?
All of Greater Houston within a 60-mile radius of our Memorial-area studio. That covers Memorial, Heights, River Oaks, Galleria, Energy Corridor, Spring Branch, Katy, Sugar Land, The Woodlands, Cypress, Pearland, Bellaire, West U, Downtown, Midtown, Clear Lake, Friendswood, Tomball, Spring, Fulshear, and everywhere in between. Travel beyond Beltway 8 may include a modest travel fee, always disclosed in your quote.
Can private events be held at your Memorial studio?
No. Our Memorial-area dance-studio location is reserved for our public, ticketed sessions only and isn't available for private bookings. Private events come to you, at your home, office, or a venue of your choice. Don't have a space in mind? We're happy to help you find and arrange one.
What's included in a private event?
Vetted puppies (8 to 16 weeks, from our ethical breeder partners), the corresponding number of yoga mats and blocks, a certified instructor, trained puppy handlers for supervision, setup and full cleanup, and candid photos to keep. Add-ons available: pro photography, custom playlist, themed signage, and party favors.
How does pricing work?
Private events begin at $900, with most landing between $900 and $2,000 depending on group size, location, event type, and add-ons. That starting point reflects what it takes to do it beautifully: a qualified breeder bringing vaccinated puppies, a certified instructor, dedicated puppy handlers, all equipment, setup, travel, and full cleanup. Every event is custom-quoted, and we reply within one business day with a written quote and a hold on your date, with no surprise fees. Prefer a lower-cost option? Our public studio sessions are $60 per person.
What's the minimum group size?
8 participants minimum. Most private events land in the 12 to 25 participant range. We can scale up to 30 participants in a single session and run back-to-back sessions for larger headcounts (corporate all-hands, large bridal showers). Only participants on a mat count toward this. Friends and family who come along to watch are always welcome and never counted.
How far in advance should I book a private event?
3 to 6 weeks of lead time is ideal, especially for weekend dates and showers planned around weddings or due dates. We've turned around shorter timelines for clients with flexible dates. Last-minute? Just ask, and we'll tell you honestly what's possible.
Can I pair puppy yoga with other vendors?
Yes, we routinely coordinate with photographers, caterers, planners, florists, and venue managers. Just let us know who you're working with in your inquiry and we'll handle the inter-vendor logistics so you don't have to play traffic cop.
Do you require a deposit, and how does payment work?
Yes. A deposit holds your date, and the balance is due before the event. The exact split is spelled out in your written quote, with no surprise fees. We accept card and other common methods, and we can invoice businesses and schools with a PO or W-9 on request.
What happens if it rains at an outdoor private event?
For any outdoor event we agree on a backup plan in advance, an indoor room, a covered patio, or a rescheduled date. The puppies need a safe, dry, temperature-comfortable space, so if the weather turns we move inside or reschedule with no penalty. We confirm the plan with you a few days out based on the forecast.
Do you offer service in Spanish?
Yes. We can plan and run your private event in English or Spanish, and send your quote and event details in either language. Just tell us your preference in your inquiry.
How much does a private puppy yoga event cost?
Private events start at $900 for up to 20 guests in the Houston area. Most bookings land between $900 and $1,500 depending on headcount, session length, day of week, and travel distance. That price is all-in: puppies, mats, a certified instructor, setup, cleanup, and $1M liability coverage. No per-person add-ons and no surprise fees on the invoice.
How much is a puppy yoga party?
A puppy yoga party runs from $900 for up to 20 guests, whether it's a birthday, a bridal shower, a girls' day, or a team social. For comparison, the national puppy yoga chains operating in Houston quote roughly $1,380 to $1,620 per hour for the same kind of private booking, plus service and admin fees on top. Ours is a single flat number.
Is a private event cheaper than buying public tickets?
For groups of about 15 or more, yes, and you get the room to yourselves. Fifteen public tickets at $60 is $900, the same as our private starting price, except a private event comes to your venue, on your date, on your schedule, with no strangers on the mats next to you.
Request a quote, we reply within 24 hours
Tell us about your event and we'll send a written quote within one business day. We reply the same day, every time, so no one gets ghosted. Private events begin at $900, no spam, no pressure, no surprise fees. Popular weekends book 3 to 6 weeks out, so the sooner you reach out, the better.
"My friends and I had an amazing time at Pawty Yoga! I highly recommend this experience for a birthday celebration, a girls' day out, or even a team social. Such a unique and feel-good event!"
